It was reported on Monday that some of Washington, DC’s COVID restrictions and mandates would expire on Tuesday, February 15. Dr. Mayor Murial Bowser put these restrictions into effect on January 15. The lifting of mask mandates does not apply to public school students, who will remain masked in class.

DC Health reported that while the vaccine mandate would be lifted on February 15, mask mandates would begin to be dialed back on March 1. Businesses will be allowed to keep vaccine requirements if they so choose.
